There are 4 bars at Breezes Golf & Beach Resort: The Pool Bar opens at 10:00 am and remains open until midnight (for beach and pool areas). The Piano Bar opens at 10:00 am and doesn't close until you say when. The Nightclub Bar opens after dinner. The Disco Bar opens at 11:00 pm and closes when the last guest leaves.

Live entertainment

The resident band performs nightly with well known Jamaican entertainers. We also have sing alongs in the Piano Bar with our pianist. Also enjoy Karaoke in the Piano Bar twice weekly.

Weddings

The resort offers *complimentary wedding & vow renewal packages which include a wedding cake, champagne, marriage license, non-denominational marriage officer and flowers. Witnesses are provided on request. Paperwork is handled by us. We require three working weeks' notice to complete the formalities. You are required to be in Jamaica 48 hours before the ceremony can be performed.

Landsports

Basketball, Bicycling, jogging trails, nature walks, cricket and beach soccer (all with instructions).; four tennis courts, lit for night play, with resident pro. Our exciting circus workshop features flying and swinging trapeze, trampoline clinics, juggling, tightrope walking, unicycle, and bicycle balancing acts. Available Sunday to Friday.

Beaches/pools/jacuzzi

There are two private, white sand beaches (1 of which is au naturel) and two freshwater pools at Breezes Golf & Beach Resort - one free form pool and one lap pool in the lobby area. There are 3 Jacuzzis: one of which is located on our au naturel beach, one close to the games room for relaxing after a workout, and the third is nestled in our tropical landscaping.

Indoor Activities

Our games room has backgammon, cards, dominoes, pool table, skittle table, table tennis and much more. Be creative with our Arts & Crafts co-ordinator in our own craft workshop.

238 bedrooms divided into 3 wings of two-story buildings. All rooms are air-conditioned with private balconies overlooking our lush gardens and pool. Equipped with radios, safety deposit boxes, hair dryers, iron & ironing board, coffee makers in the bathrooms, telephones.

Superior Room (41 rooms): Facing landscaped perimeter, the rooms have a king bed or 2 twin beds, one armchair and one ottoman.

Deluxe Room (41 rooms): Facing the hotel grounds / wedding gazebo, the rooms have a king bed or 2 twin beds, one armchair and one ottoman.

Premium Room (38 rooms): Facing the manicured lawn area, the rooms have a king bed or 2 twin beds, a love seat and marble bathrooms.

Luxury Room (114 rooms): Facing the central court yard and lawns with exotic foliage, the rooms have a king bed or 2 twin beds, a love seat and marble bathrooms.

SuperClubs Golf Course

SuperClubs' own 18-hole, PGA-quality golf course is adjacent to the hotel at Breezes Golf & Beach Resort at Runaway Bay. Learn how to play golf at our golf school; our golf director and several professionals are there to assist you. For beginners to advanced golfers, a total of 28 hours of instruction are available each week. The school has a lecture room with video equipment, a 10-bay golf range, large practice green, sandtrap and chipping area.

Green fees and golf school instruction are all included in your stay at Breezes Golf & Beach Resort (Clubs, carts and mandatory caddies are not included.).

 Do you dream of some day correcting your swings on rolling, well manicured greens with a backdrop of perfect island paradise and not having to worry about paying for it each time? ...your dreams are not as far fetched as you think!  Breezes Golf & Beach Resort at Runaway Bay boasts the only Golf Academy in Jamaica where everything you need to know about Golf is taught by a PGA certified instructor at no extra cost. You are lectured in the theory of golf, then taken on the course for the practical application. Evaluations are done later by audio/visual analysis and score card reporting. 

The SuperClubs course is a seventy-two (72) par, eighteen (18) holes championship golf course which offers an exhilarating experience for beginners and accomplished golfers alike and green fees are unlimited. It was designed by Commander John Harris from Britain and was opened in 1960. The feature of the golf course are long rolling fairways, large flat greens protected by grassy mounds and sand bunkers. It has hosted many championship events including the Ryder Cup Match between the UK and West Indies, the Jamaica Open and World Cup of Golf Super Qualifier.  The course measures 5,389 yards and is slope rated 117 from the forward trees. From the back it measures 6,870 yards and is slope rated 124. The course is well trapped, protecting it from certain errand shots and wind gusts of up to 35 mph.    

The Course professional is Seymour A. Rose, former International Tour Player and currently Senior Series Tour card holder. The resident professional and golf school director is Greg Walters. In addition to our resident teaching staff, we have visiting teaching professionals meeting CPGA or PGA qualifications year-round. Weekly sessions cover all aspects of game swing, instructional video sessions, video analysis, private lessons, on course instruction, course management skills, as well as, course etiquette. 

A 9-hole scramble tournament for Golf School participants only is conducted each Friday and a glo-ball putting championship at 8:30pm Friday nights. The daily sessions at the golf school cover a separate aspect of the game daily. The structure also depends on the participation on a daily basis. The clubhouse hours are 8am to 6pm. Last tee time for 18 holes is 2pm and 4pm for 9 holes. Tee off times are not required.
