Review: Michelle Rivers - May ‘07

Location: About a 90 minute drive from the airport, on the North side. Theme: Be Wicked For a Week! And, on the nude side, that applies; anything Goes....Singles and couples are both welcome. Arriving at Hedo III, you are greeted with a neck massage and a wonderful cold rum punch to drink as you are getting checked in. Accommodations: There is a "nude" side and a "prude" side, as they are called. Either side has a wide variety of standard, poolview and oceanview rooms to choose from. The nude side also has a 'quad' section that is U shaped surrounding an additional pool. The nude main pool is oceanfront with a swim up bar and an oceanside jacuzzi that is very nice late at night after the disco. The rooms are all tiled floors; very nice either king or double beds; Cable TV; large bathrooms with both shower and tub; small sitting area with sofa and coffee table located on the front of the room facing the property with a set of double windows opening out to let in the ocean breeze; in room safe, and closet and dresser area to hang your clothes and put away your suitcases. Cuisine: The restaurants are on the clothed side and you can choose from sit down and order or open air buffet styles. A couple nights a week they have a wonderful feast out by the pool as well. They have a very nice selection of local as well as international foods to choose from, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all day snacks. The meals were delicious. Things to do: They have a trapeze on the beach and they will teach you how to use the trapeze, which is pretty cool. On the beach, they also have a trampoline. They have a catamaran there and the usual water sports like Kayaking, snorkeling, diving (also the pool course is available), jet skis. There's a variety of tours to take like horseback riding, touring the countryside, a catamaran party on the ocean and much more. The really fun part is the disco. There's a great disco with a DJ who knows the best music to play to have everyone on their feet and dancing. There is a bar in the disco with all the usual drinks to choose from and the gentlemen usually wear shorts and a polo and the ladies dress in their erotic wear. At the clothed pool, there's a rooftop waterslide, and the fun part of this is that it spins thru the disco, so even late at night while you are dancing in the disco, you might see someone's hiney sliding down the water slide. This is really fun at about 2a, nude :-) They have a piano bar, and in the evenings around 9p, the piano guy starts playing your favorite tunes while the gentlemen smoke cigars and you enjoy bar drinks, until you might be ready to go start things up at the disco. After the disco, it's fun to go to the nude side and enjoy the jacuzzi until the wee hours of the morning. Days at the nude pool is great music and a series of fun pool games designed to promote interaction among people to get to know each other better. There's also a 'grotto' in the nude pool with a waterfall spilling over the entrance which is a nice hideaway. There's also a great gym and morning aerobics and stretching classes are available. There's a variety of treadmills, Stairmasters, and free weights available. On a patio outside the gym there's ping pong and some other games going on to choose from. They have theme nights, such as toga night, pj night, formal night, etc. These can be a lot of fun too. On the nude side, Hedo hosts periodic 'lifestyles' takeovers, as well as specials for bringing an extra person with you, and also 'girls' takeovers for 'get to know you's'. The landscaping is lush and tropical so where ever you are walking on the sidewalks around the property, you will see gorgeous tropical flowers and plants growing which are very colorful. SUMMARY: I have been to this property a couple of times and I definitely recommend trying it out for fun, great amenities, great meals, an all over tan, and letting go of all of your inhibitions for a week. Any questions or more in-depth candid discussion of the property and what's available, just shoot me an email and I'll fill you in.

Review: Cyndi Miller - Feb ‘07

When entering this resort, there is that same cozy, comfortable feel that the other Superclubs resorts offer. Once inside, you can clearly see it is like no other. It is an adults only resort for couples and singles 18 years and older. It is cleverly laid out to provide 3 sections offering guests every option.
There is the main pool where most of the amenities are found. Here you will find 4 main dining locations; the Tropical Terrace buffet style dining, Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Grill, Munasan for Japanese, and Pastafari for Italian cuisine, as well as two outdoor beach grills for a quick bite. I enjoyed lunch at the Terrace and the selection as well as the food was good. There is plenty to do here around the main pool area. Water sports include sailboats, scuba diving, snorkeling, wind surfing, kayaks and boat tours. There is volleyball, basketball, and lighted tennis courts with lessons. You will find a pool table in the pool, a water slide that goes through the disco, and a see through bottom hot tub. There is a circus that performs on the beach and you can even take lessons through the circus school. There are plenty of themed parties and contests each day and night as well as Cabaret shows. Expect the unexpected, anything goes here.
There are 3 pools and 2 beaches. If there is a prude side, it would have to be the main pool area and beach. There is also a nude pool and beach, as well as a clothing optional pool. I would say that all 3 are clothing optional with the exception of the nude pool and beach where you are required to be fully nude to be there. There are 6 bars including the swim up bars.
I did not get to see any of the rooms due to it being full, but there are standard or oceanfront/oceanview suites. There are about 28 that are swim up rooms that circle the clothing optional pool. The rooms all included king size or twin beds, radio/cd player, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, and a safe. They are all air-conditioned.
I noticed that the staff was very friendly and seemed to know many guests by name. I would have to say that this is a very friendly and action packed resort with a lot going on if you are looking for a wild experience like no other. My only advice would be, expect anything!
