I thought this resort was so cute. The lobby is grand with very modern decor. It is not as large as most of the resorts in the DR. It is more narrow and goes back further than some, but the villas are not spread out all over the place. They just align the center of the resort where the pools are. The resort has a very colorful exterior, however the rooms are very simple and modern. I was able to see all three room categories - Jr. Suite, Dlx JRS, and Honeymoon Suite. The difference in the rooms is mainly the size, Deluxe JRS are slightly larger, and the bathrooms have shower and Jacuzzi tub separated. All rooms have jacuzzi tubs and sofa beds. The Honeymoon Suites have two levels. The upstairs has a Jacuzzi Tub that looks out to the Ocean in the distance. Beautiful room, all decorated in white.
What I liked the best were the restaurants. A large choice for everyone. There are 2 restaurants that are not included in the AI, but seem as though they would be very nice experiences for those who want to splurge - one was a lobster bar on the beach, and one was a wine cellar. They also had a 50's diner with a 57 chevy decorating the exterior, and every icon you can think of on the walls or as a life-size statue. They also had a coffee shop that was to die for. I felt like I was in a coffee shop in the city as the people around me were reading or typing away on their laptops while sipping some really gourmet coffee. It was nice!
The overall beach at this property is not one to rave about. It is smaller than most, as the property is very narrow. But they still offer all the same amenities in water sports.
Overall, I would suggest this hotel to couples or groups of adults. Possibly that family that likes a more quiet resort as I did not see many children around. However they do offer a kids club and a teen club.
