Review: Cathy - Nov. ‘05

We are having a wonderful time here at Sandals Whitehouse. This side of the island is just beautiful. The bus ride here was not as bad as everyone made it out to be. Some bumps and sometimes narrow roads, but not bad. The sand fleas have not bothered us at all. The room is fantastic. We have a room on the first floor in the Italian village with 2 butlers (Kesha and Deroney). They will do just about anything from making reservations to getting you things while you sit on the beach i.e. drinks, towels, book from the room etc. All you have to do is take the cordless phone from the room and call them. It is pretty easy to get a chair either on the beach or by the pool. The beach is excellent. Very fine sand with a lot of wildlife in the water and on land. Have seen many star fish and other little fish in the water close up. You can walk the beach for quite a ways, which is needed after all the great food. Portions are very generous and a lot to choose from as well. Have not had a bad meal yet. We have snorkeled twice and today are going on a tour of Y.S. falls/Black River Safari. We did a couples heart stone massage the other day as well. WONDERFUL!!! We would highly recommend Sandals Whitehouse and will be coming back again.
