A large free-form pool with inserted islands of lush tropical trees, and umbrella covered lounge chairs, is the perfect spot for tanning, or a refreshing swim, with the Sun Tan bar serving up a variety of cocktails. And you won't have to travel far from your beach chair for snacks at the Beachclub, or follow the aroma of grilled meats at Las Brasas Grill by the pool.

A warm arrival, with flowers and a large mango tree pleasing to the eye, sets one's mind in a vacation mood. When you enter into the main lobby there is a high ceiling with thatched roofing, columns, ceiling fans and wicker chairs and a bar which serves drinks from 10am - 11pm. An opening to the main area, is impressive with flowers and walkways through lush gardens, with nine - three story blocks of rooms, in soft sandstone colors, with easy access to all facilities. An open-air theater offers a mini-disco for kids and teens at 8pm, then follows with a show from 9:30-11pm. The 'Garage Disco' with sportsbar and pool tables upstairs stays open until 2am, for dancing and additional social fun.

Beach, Land & Water Activities

• Land Sports - Horseback Riding (reservation required, additional fees apply), Volleyball, Beach Soccer, Table Tennis, Bicycles, Darts, Billiards, Playing Cards, Board Games and Exercise Room. Tennis Courts there are four lighted, soft-surface tennis courts available

Golf

• Bavaro Golf Course is an 18-hole, Par 72 course designed by Juan Manuel Gordillo. This course is flat and very playable, with narrow fairways, palm trees, lakes, and dense vegetation. It was built with the enjoyment of the resort tourist in mind. Green fee and transportation not included.

• Topaz - Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving buffet style
• Caruso - Italian, reservations required, no shorts dinner only
• Papayas - Progressive Caribbean Food, reservations required dinner only
• La Yola - Seafood, reservations required
• NOTE - dress code for specialty restaurants, casual elegant, men are required to wear long trousers. Shirts with sleeves required in all restaurants.
• Pizza Snack Bar - The pool snack bar is open for light luncheons throughout the afternoon.
• Las Brasas Grill - Open for dinner
• Beach Club - This bar serves your favorite drink or cocktail and a selection of light lunch snacks.
• Le Petit Cafe - Come here for coffee, early and continental breakfast and tea time.

Bars and Lounges

• Main Bar - Located by the pool, the main bar helps you quench your thirst by serving a large variety of cocktails, soft drinks and juices.
• Beach Bar - Beat the heat with a refreshing selection of cocktails, drinks and fruit juices at this bar.
• Sports Bar and Disco - For fun and games visit the sports bar and then as night falls put your dancing shoes on for the disco.

Maximum occupancy is 4 adults or 2 adults with 2 children or 3 adults with 1 child.

All rooms are exactly the same except for the view. Rooms feature television, air conditioning, bathtub with shower, telephone and safety deposit box. Cribs available upon request.
